Vendor handbook
The complete guide to selling on TheMarketRobo — from signup and submission to security, runtime control, and revenue.
Introduction & benefits
As an early adopter you get a developer-first marketplace built for your security and profitability.
Why choose us?
Auditability: Our SDK is open-source. You can see exactly how the security layer works before you include it.
Direct control: You’re not just trusting a legal document; you’re using a technical barrier that checks with our servers every few minutes.
Early partner benefits: Beyond security, we offer significantly higher commission splits (50%+) and direct negotiation that larger marketplaces can’t match.
Commercial terms
Commission: We highly recommend a percentage-based commission as an early adopter, where your share is upwards of 50%.
Pricing: You propose your price; we finalize it through mutual negotiation on the platform so it aligns with market value and performance.
Getting started: vendor signup
Becoming a vendor is straightforward:
Create an account: Register on TheMarketRobo.
Setup vendor profile: You can start preparing and submitting products right away.
Identity & payment verification: You can submit without immediate verification, but you must complete verification before receiving payouts.
Product types
You can sell two types of products:
Trading robots (Expert Advisors): Automated systems with specific logic. They need configuration schemas, default configs, and at least 3 backtests.
Indicators: Technical analysis tools and signals. They need a media gallery (screenshots and videos) but no backtests or runtime configuration.
Submission and approval process
We use a structured workflow for quality and IP protection:
1. UUID reservation: Request a unique identifier from the platform before finalizing your code.
2. SDK integration: Integrate our Open Source SDK with the reserved UUID for licensing and server communication.
3. Specifications form: Define your bot’s logic, market conditions, and strategy via our platform.
4. Backtesting (robots only): Upload at least 3 backtests (we recommend 5–10) to show consistency.
5. Compiled file upload: Provide only the compiled file (.ex4 or .ex5). Source code is not required.
6. Performance alignment: Our admin team reviews Technical, Security, and Performance so the compiled file matches your claims.
7. Negotiation: We negotiate the listing base price (e.g. Bronze, 30 days) and your commission in parallel with technical review.
8. Final approval: Once validation and pricing are done, we compute the full pricing matrix and publish your product.
Security & intellectual property
Your trading logic is your most valuable asset. We’re in launch phase and focused on making early vendors successful. Our security is built on technical rigor and transparency for developers.
Do I need to share my source code (MQ4/MQ5)?
No. Your proprietary logic stays with you. We only require the compiled file (.ex4 or .ex5) that you build after adding our Open Source SDK. The file we distribute is a locked box; your core logic is never exposed to us or to customers.
Why use your SDK?
Server adaptation: Lets your product talk to our backend for real-time updates and validation.
Licensing & protection: Handles the handshake between the user and our platform so only authorized purchasers can run your product.
How we protect your product
Dynamic server-side validation: Periodic handshakes with our servers verify the license at randomized intervals.
Compiled integrity: You never upload source. Your core logic is never exposed.
Real-time transparency: Track every license generated, sold, and activated in the Live Licensing Dashboard.
Session limits & node control: Customers are limited to a set number of concurrent sessions. Our backend enforces this in real time. Expired or terminated licenses revoke access immediately with no grace period.
Runtime capabilities & customer control
TheMarketRobo gives customers strong control over active sessions via the Customer App, while keeping your code secure.
Dynamic control options
Depending on what you enable at submission, customers can do the following without restarting the product or reinstalling:
Configuration changes (robots only): If you allow it, customers can change parameters from your Configuration Schema (e.g. stop loss, risk). The platform sends changes to the product securely. Not available for indicators.
Symbol activation (robots only): If enabled, customers can turn trading on or off per symbol without taking the whole product offline.
Session termination (robots & indicators): Customers can close active sessions quickly from the app as an emergency stop.
Managing schema versions
When you update your product, you can evolve configuration without breaking existing setups:
We use a robust JSON Schema validation workflow.
Customers on v1 see v1 configuration options.
When you release v2, new customers use the latest schema; existing setups stay on their version.
Managing your products and revenue
Once your product is live:
Versioning: Request a new UUID and submit a “New Version” for improvements. New versions inherit the pricing matrix without re-negotiation.
Licenses: Customers buy licenses and configure MT4/MT5 with their API key.
Coupons & promotions: Use system-generated discount codes to promote your tools.
Revenues: Track sales and revenue split in real time. Payouts are processed by our accounting team upon request.
